Clicker Canines for Puppies and Adults - Clicker training is a great way to reinforce commands and improve focus. In this course, we expand on what was taught in Level 1 and introduce:
- Sit, down, and stay with advanced distance, duration, and distractions
- Heel work and emergency stop
- “Place” command (sending your dog to a designated area)
- Impulse control exercises
- Fun tricks like roll over and spin
- Scent work
Private Classes

At your home or at the training centre. Private classes are ideal for addressing specific behavioral challenges or focusing on personalised training goals. They offer one-on-one guidance for issues like leash reactivity, anxiety, or advanced obedience skills. Whether you need extra help with basic cues or tailored support for unique needs, private sessions provide a flexible, customised approach to suit both you and your dog’s needs.
Remember:
At the end of each course, we encourage owners to prepare a 3-5 minute show featuring the tricks and agility skills your dog has learned. This is a fun way to showcase your dog’s progress and creativity!
Our Training Approach
The Thinking Canine uses only positive reinforcement techniques. This means that we reward good behavior with treats, praise, and play, helping your dog learn in a stress-free and fun way. We don’t use any methods that cause fear or discomfort. Our aim is to make training enjoyable for both you and your dog!
